Your reading stays yours.
This notice describes how the current Understand Your Salah web app handles data. It is not a claim about future Android or iOS releases.
On your device
Journey goals and completed steps, tour choices, reading positions, Quran bookmarks, lesson progress, theme preferences and downloaded translations are stored in this browser. They are not synced to an app-owned server. Clearing website data deletes local information. Export backups before changing devices or moving to a different domain.
The navigator’s conversation stays in the current tab and disappears when it is closed or reloaded. Downloaded concern reports stay on your device unless you choose to share them.
Requests to other services
Translation chapters and wording searches are requested from AlQuran Cloud. Audio is requested from EveryAyah. Their servers receive network information needed to deliver those requests, such as your IP address; search requests contain the words you entered. Their own policies apply.
The website’s hosting provider processes requests needed to serve and secure this website. External source links take you to another provider. This app does not add advertising, an analytics SDK, account registration, location collection, microphone recording or a generative AI service.
Your choices
Use Settings to export your progress and Quran bookmarks, clear downloaded translations, or reset learning progress. To remove all local data, clear this website’s data in your browser settings. Avoid including personal or sensitive details in searches or concern reports.

The lesson report tool prepares a file for you to share manually with the person who provided this app. It does not submit a support ticket. A public support contact has not yet been configured; the publisher needs to supply one before an app-store submission.
Religious learning notes are an early edition awaiting independent scholarly review. Quran translations remain attributed to their listed editions. The navigator provides navigation and source lookup, not religious rulings.
